I can’t wait to see how motivated Rieder looks out there tonight blame him for the season then dress him....perfect - RatedR80
I wouldn’t blame him one bit if he decides to fire a wrister past Koskinen’s glove hand. |

One of the most retarded statements I’ve ever read. |

This team is a (frank)ing joke.
I have been disappointed in Rieder sure. But he was nothing more than a fourth liner that can PK and skate. Yeah he's had opportunities to score which he should have. But if he scored 15 goals they'd make the playoffs? Get the (frank) out of here with that bullpoop.
No mention of Lucic... If they hadn't signed him, they'd have 6 million of cap off the books. Or better yet Taylor Hall who would have put up probably around 35.
Move after move Nicholson allowed Chiarelli to make stupid (frank)ing trades. At some point it's YOUR fault. Nicholson, as everyone knows on the site, is the real problem. Not Chiarelli (although Chiarelli was a problem too) and not Reider.
And I would bet that Gretzky will more than likely be hired as the GM which is the final straw for me. There's so many better options and you hire someone who sat by Chiarelli and hasn't shown any potential to actually be good?
And Koskinen... oh boy. I was wrong. I'll be the first to admit it. He's a alright back-up to a fringe starter. Very inconsistent. But you made the decision to sign him to a 4.5 million dollar contract? It's just (frank)ing absurd how (frank)ed this organization is from top to bottom.
It should be easy. You have (frank)ing Connor McDavid and Draisaitl, a potential number one dman, Nurse who is a fine player & Nugent-Hopkins a very good 2C. Yet they surrond these player with a few good bottom 6 players (Kassian, Gagner, Khaira, Chiasson). And yes I was wrong about Chiasson. Everyone else (frank)ing sucks ass. Such as a (frank)ing anchor in Lucic, old man Brodziak, "It's all your fault" Reider, a bunch of AHL players who have actually done fine (Currie, Cave).
You had Hall, Eberle, a 16th which you could have drafted a great player, and so on and so forth. Y'all know about this poop. It's not even worth writing about at this point.
(frank) this team. |

Knowing Rieders luck this season he will probably still miss but I think he should try

It really is tho I do buy into the hype that if the Leafs don’t get past the 1st round there will be drama between Babs and Dubas....the seeds are there

So then we need two willing teams.....maybe an Ottawa/Boston combo would make the most sense.....we shop him to Ottawa and retain then they ship him to Boston and retain....us and Boston sens picks/prospects to make it worth thier while since they are rebuilding - RatedR80
Precisely |

Kreider and Fast with a 2nd this year might get me close. Still probably wouldn't make the trade, though. |

Watch him pot 15 in the last 10 and then when Nicholson offers him an absurd contract he tells him to go (frank) himself. |

You know, as radical as it might sound, hiring Gretzky as their GM might just be the final straw for me too. It would all but condemn the team to mediocrity going forward and would speak to a greater problem that's endemic to Oilers culture thanks to our boot-licker of an owner. I might actually take up following Vegas or an Eastern team until I heard news of sweeping managerial changes in the NHL's tundra. |

Possibly. Gardiner might miss the playoffs too though which means they have a chance against Boston. |

Or better yet watch him intetionally score on his own net and celebrate like he won the cup. Then skate of the ice and not show up to any practises until his contract runs out.
Now in all other cases I feel like the GMs would pull a Lonnie Smith on him and refuse to sign him. But I think most would be like "yeah that makes sense" |

I mean I still think he's making a million more than he should be and the contract could very well bite Toronto in the ass (either because he leaves or because it's not team friendly), but AM is (frank)ing elite and will be one of the best players within three years. - Oilers4Life14
He’s more than a goal every two game player. He’s insanely good. One of the best already. |
