I can see any of these guys making the team next season. I'm guessing 2 spots will be available to be won or lost in camp. Either 3rd line center or 2 wing spots.
Frost-C/W
Farabee -LW
Voroboyov -C/W
Rubtsov -C/W
Kase -RW
Aube-Kubel -RW
Ratcliffe- LW
Laberge- C/W
In addition to veterans like Bailey, Varone, Knight, or Vecchione, - youarewrong

I wonder if Allison would consider signing. Has played <25 games the last 2 years.
I also think there's less than a 5% chance of Farabee signing this offseason. |

Looks like the Flyers have been chosen for the 2019 NHL global series.
They will complete training camp in Lausanne, Switzerland and play an exhibition game against Lausanne HC Sept 30. . Then they will play the Blackhawks in the Czech Republic on October 4th for the first game of the regular season.....

At first I was worried about the time difference but its only 5 hours. Not much different than LA or Vancouver going the other way.
I still don't like it.

I am hoping Laczynski and Alliosn both sign.
I think Laczynski could be a fast riser to the Flyers roster |

I'd be alarmed if Allison doesn't sign soon. Like Friedman, 3 years in college should be enough. |

Yes, but Friedman didn't suffer loss of significant playing time, either.
I think he will sign, because he can be just as healthy at college as in the AHL, I just hope he feels that he's ready based on the injuries. |

He's also had a big injury already. Might want to make sure he gets some security moving forward. |

I know this was a joke. But it does bring up a point. I doubt the NHL would want to subsidize those financially failing teams playing in a collapsing Russian economy. |

Financially, they could have a parent group (the "NHL") and make the European "division" a separate entity that would be is not connected to the North American "division."
I'm not an accountant, but I'm sure there's a way to do it.
Edit: There's way to do it if the NHL can become profitable by doing so. |

For sure, though I doubt the AHL would be too happy with it.

Why, you think a team like Utah would have an issue with a player on a 1-game call-up to Ufa, Russia that would mean he's miss 6 AHL games in travel? |
