Me as well. Good thing the dishwasher decided to break yesterday.
- Isleshockeyman

I caught a pass in mens league and my tuuk and steal both broke on my skate, that's gonna be 200 bucks to replace

Did it really break? I had one blow a gasket and shoot water everywhere all day while I was at work. What a mess

hahahah true.. My guess is at least one of us would hit someone.

Bailey and Ladd are just painful to watch. They just are not engaged in the play at all

If Val is out long term and we now have Komarov as 3c we are in deep poop.

Yeah. The wife texted me that it was making weird noises and was showing a trouble code. So she unplugged it.
Had to pull the thing out, flip it on its side and dry out the tiny bit of water in the catch pan.

I didn’t even bother with this one I saw one shift and took it off. Islanders had no interest in playing last night. Bruins are bigger and more physical and the islanders just can’t handle that. Bruins always kill us. I actually was more entertained watching wrestling last night

I think that's Josh Ho Sang's music

edit:

We're (frank)ed. They're going to have to call up some asswad like Tanner Fritz or try out Koivula and see if he's capable of hanging at the NHL level. No center depth whatsoever in this organization. Maybe Jan Kovar wants to come back

No Jordan Eberle on ice for practice either.

So, #Isles:
Lee-Barzal-Ladd
Bailey-Nelson-Dal Colle
Beauvillier-Kuhnhackl-Komarov
Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck
Leddy-Mayfield
Pelech-Pulock
Hickey-Toews
(Boychuk still extra)

#Isles Injury Update: Valtteri Filppula is out four weeks with an upper body injury. Jordan Eberle is day to day with an upper body injury.

Whoops chiefs already had it but man 9 games left and these turds are in the lineup.......not good when fritz is the call up

I'm not sure Bailey's really done enough lately to move up from the third line, and Trotz mentioned using him at center last night. That might be their best move out of a bunch of bad choices.

They have a lot of center depth issues to address this summer.

They should offer to take Callahan from Tampa if they send Cirelli along with him. Callahan has one year left @ $5.8M and then he goes away. Cirelli can play 3C next year with the ability to move up as time goes on. He's been excellent for them this year and he's only 21. If they're taking Callahan off TBL's books I can't imagine the cost would be that much.

Well judging by the lines in practice, they're not doing that. I guess that can change, but it doesn't look good right now.

Filppula is out until well into the first round. This is pretty bad.

I think I'm most surprised that they can't find any room for Boychuk after...well...whatever that was I watched happen last night to the Islanders

Hickey has been atrocious. I can't figure out why they won't sit him for JB, unless he's still hurt.

The forward lines at practice today might just be throwing people out there to fill spots if something like Eberle's injury was an 11th hour surprise. I wouldn't be surprised if things changed by game time tomorrow. Because, yeah, that doesn't look too good right now!

That was kind of my assumption. He's probably only 90% and Barry wants him 100% for the playoffs.

Only thing I can think of is he's actually getting pucks to the net. Sure, they're like wet noodle arm shots, but at least something's getting to the front. But I'm not crazy about sitting Boychuk for Hickey either. I guess it's also possible Boychuk's still a little banged up and they don't want to say anything.

Yeah I imagine they weren't going to expect anyone to drive down from BPT overnight or in time for practice this morning. Maybe they just have someone fly out of CT to meet them in MTL later today or something or, like you said, just stick Bailey at center. I guess the small silver lining is that Dal Colle gets back in.

agreed. usually i record both and switch back and forth. last night's smackdown was far superior to that game. worst of the year by far

Barry Trotz says Jordan Eberle will travel with the team to Montreal, reiterates day to day. Noncommittal about who steps in for Filppula. Spoke with Kuhnhackl, at 3rd line center today, said played some there in juniors. #Isles
