hahaha indeed....of course any games that went to shootout would still see the each team getting one tie point a piece...so not sure how that would effect overall standings now....Pens would be outside playoff picture I believe, though not totally sure due to not knowing which of the other teams losses were shootouts. |

Pens Defense would be looking great if Maatta slotted in with Shultz and the top and bottom pairing stayed intact. |

Haha and when they do this why cant a member of the media ask "Mike, why would you opt to keep together a pairing that has been struggling and scratching a defenseman who brings more to the table over the guy you're keeping in the struggling pairing?"...or something to that effect. |

Because they’ll get booted from media scrums for not gargling Sullys balls. |

Because sadly, they don’t think JJ is struggling.
I think after JR opened his trap about CBJ after signing him he can’t possibly make a decision that makes them look correct. |

No beat writers are ever critical of the teams they cover for this exact reason. It might not be revocation of media passes but players and coaches will be much less likely to answer your questions in a genuine manner. |

Nah. They booted Rob Rossi from the beat when GMJR told him to go sell ice cream. Nothing came of it. |

hahah I never heard about that. I cant blame anyone for booting Rossi though, that guy is a tool. I remember TSN was consulting with him for Pens news one year and he was being interviewed a few times on TV about the Pens, just moronic stuff he was saying. |

Oh don’t get me wrong I think Rossi is awful, I was just pointing out that it happens. Or even think back to how Kessel would answer Steve Simmons questions back in Toronto. You’ve seen those interviews right? That dude is a (frank)ing donkey too. |

Rossi makes so many stupid questions. In his mind his questions are awesome. Love when Sullivan just says Yes or No to him and waits for the next question. |
