Can’t say I remember the flyers having one decent scoring chance this game. |

But Umberger had no value. AMac is better than both Folin and Manning. They BOTH played a lot of minutes. If he goes to LHV, they get a bit over a million in cap relief.
It's just semantics. In my opinion he has more value playing the odd game here or playing regularly in LHV. - jaws1955
I have news for you. Fletcher has bought out big deals in the past. He bought out Vanek in Minnesota while he was being paid 6.5 million a season. |

Wow, a shift of sustained attack time. Now if we get a screen maybe one gets by Price. |

Amac in a limited role is fine.....it’s when they over play him he gets exposed. As a number 6 or a 7 who plays 30 games a year he’s worth holding onto....it’s not like the cap space is an issue right now.[/img] |

Ok, you win the internet today. I voiced my opinion and so did you. We differ in our thoughts. Time will tell. |

That's my point. He is serviceable if not over used or simply as insurance in case of injury. Or maybe if someone gets the flu. 😁 |

Mote stupid plays. Konecny had all the time in the world to walk in and makes a low percentage pass instead |

I don’t know anyone can watch him the last 4 years and think anything else. ‘Serviceable’ is actually a pretty good description.

I don’t know what this means but if you look at his stats as a five million dollar player, his production is pathetic. Add the eye test, he’s just average at best.
If Mac scores tonight, it will be his first goal on the season. |

What it means is he’s a serviceable dman.....doesn’t do anything really good but can do in a pinch. He’s not going to be a total liability...I don’t think his salary comes into play when judging how good he is....we all know he’s not a 5 million dollar guy...but as a #7 preferably...or a guy used as a number 6 who get 10-12 minutes a night....it’s pretty apparent that he’s no longer a top 6 on this team....I’m fine with that.

I know that’s what I am looking for in next years team, serviceable players mixed with a few adequates and maybe a couple good in the locker rooms.
Or we could raise expectations afteryears of mediocrity and serviceable losers. |

If he becomes a 7th defenseman, his salary becomes dead cap space no matter how you look at it.
I could very well be wrong. I never said I was write but Fletcher has and will buyout a big contract if he has to. |
