Okay then. Who was the last ex-Flyers who burned us?
I agree it happened for a number of years, but the only ex-Flyers who scored on us that I can think of this season are Jeff Carter and Brayden Schenn, and we won the LA game. - jmatchett383
Lindros scored on us with the Rags either his first game back or one of the first few I thought |

Yes, that happened 18 years ago.
I just wish that, sometimes, even just once, current Flyers would be able to score against their former teams. On an unrelated note, how'd JvR do the other night? |

Nobody mentioned a specific time
In all seriousness, Justin Williams probably has the most goals against us as a former player |

You’re hoping Morin will push Hägg our?? I think the writing is on the wall for a Mac buyout. No need to force anyone out. - SuperSchennBros
I don't see any moves with AMac before next year. If Morin works out, that leaves 8 D with Mac as #8. Then someone still has to sit. I don't want a bit out. Just waive him. If he gets claimed, great if not, off to the Phantoms. Btw, if they recall him late in the season and then waive him again he can still get claimed and his salary is prorated. Don't have to retain salary. |

He may. Patrick Sharp, Recchi, and Fedotenko seemed to enjoy playing us as well. |

I just see Hagg as a physical, defensively-oriented player who plays a good positional game and has some minor deficiency at moving the puck out of the zone. I think he could be better, but I don't see him ever having the puck skills or offensive IQ required to be more than a 5/6.
I hope he proves me wrong. - jmatchett383
I think any player can improve with experience and seasoning. |

You might be right but I think it’s best to buy him out of a deal can’t be done trade wise. Mac deserves to play, even as a average to below average player. Mac is an nhl player, not an 8th defenseman. He’s not a Dale Weise situation. But him out, send him packing. |

It will all be moot anyway when we lose Hagg to Seattle in the expansion draft. - MBFlyerfan
we would be lucky to only lose Hagg to Seattle and that isn't meant as a slam to Hagg

Scott Laughton
Oskar Lindblom
Nolan Patrick
James Van Riemsdyk
Jakub Voracek
Defense:
Shayne Gostisbehere

would not be surprised to see a dman moved for that very reason but they will still lose a good forward. point being this wont be a PEB expansion draft |

He has 15 goals, 29 points in 37 games vs the Flyers.
Aho appears to be the guy to watch for (surprise surprise) as he has 14 points in 11 games vs Philadelphia. |

I dont have any issue with Morin eventually pushing for a 4,5,6 spot.
Hell given how his development has gone that would be amazing.
I just also think Hagg is a really solid 5,6.
If I think about next year..
Provy, Sanheim
Ghost, Myers
Hagg/Morin/Gudas.
The other variation on that is a smart trade involving Ghost to get additional forward help with either Hagg or Gudas slotted in the 4 spot.

Key phrase. Don't trade him when his value is lowest. |
