Why, what do you mean?
did you know that Sanheim had 1 less shift than Hagg in the 3rd? - wcorvette
Obviously a sign of a terrible head coach.
I mean, I might not have actually watched any of the game and seen what scenarios played out over a sample of one game or anything, but yes, clearly a coaching issue. |

In order for use to make the playoffs we NEED to find a way to get a W vs WSH and hope a team ahead of us goes on a losing streak - xShoot4WarAmpsx
It's not just Washington, they basically need to win every game, and need to win all 3 against Montreal and Carolina in regulation. If anything, the Washington game is one of the ones that they could potentially lose and it wouldn't make much difference. |

Sanheim also played 26:19 only second to Provorov's 28:42. Ghost played 19:22, Hagg 16:24, Gudas 16:15 and Myers 12:47 but Myers was a LW (no not really but ESPN has him listed as RW ) |

It was an awesome game. We won. Hart only let 1 past him (on a team defensive breakdown). Flyers scored 2, and Crosby was -2 with 1 shot on goal. It was well played. The only coaching issue was the too many men penalties. They were killed off though. Sunny skies!

Yes, but those figures don't help to passively aggressively imply that the Flyers coach didn't deploy his players properly, so why do they matter? |

You've badly misread my post as usual. I am not criticizing the coaches and don't have an issue with how the coaches gave out ice time in the game.

he was trying to see if another poster had an issue with the ice time...
Is that the passive/agressive you were referring too? |

Nothing passive/aggressive about a reasonable question that I asked to someone who has often criticized icetime anomalies in the past.

No of course not, never, he's always the victim that people gang up on.
Nevermind that he asked it directly to a poster who criticized Hakstol for his overreliance on vet players and limiting the minutes of players like Sanheim and Konecny. His line of questioning in response to that individual couldn't have been to get a rise out of him in the slightest. |

Based on the very fact that you yourself just admitted makes it a legitimate question to ask. Ironic that you've made how many posts now unrelated to legitimate conversation and accusing others of being passive/aggressive. |

I'm just glad that certain unnamed individuals aren't passive aggressively stirring the pot this morning. - jmatchett383
So what you are saying is that its ok when anyone else but the unnamed individual does it almost hourly, 7 days a week, 12 months a year.
The lack of self awareness in this place can truly be comical. |

Not at all. Just saying that it goes both ways. Don't cry wolf if you do the same.
I did hope that we could go 1 full page without someone (he or anyone else) having to push people's buttons.
I'm sure he's denying doing anything wrong, which is (or at least was) his MO when he does something like this, as he's always the victim.
Anywho, I enjoyed the game last night. Was good to see Hart play a real strong game against a big rival. He actually seemed to get stronger as the game went on. Hopefully we get a full season of him next year and take a step towards contention. |

I’m ok with missing the playoffs mainly because of the growth of key players that are going to be critical for our future like TK, Provy, Patrick, Sanheim, Lindblom, Hart and now Myers. It’s also great to see Couts improve even more and see we are getting our moneys worth with JVR. Plus, you never know if we strike some luck again in the lottery which would be unreal. I’m also ok with missing playoffs because I think there will be a quick turnaround between this and next season.
This is arguably going to be the biggest summer for the Flyers in a long-time. We have the cap space to add in FA, the assets to make an impact trade (if needed) and we have young guys who know they need to have a good summer to make the big club such as NAK, Misha, Frost, Rubstov and maybe even Ratcliffe. I suppose you can add the NCAA guys if they sign with us when their season ends. I think Gordon deserves consideration for being our head coach, but if not, we also have a chance to potentially add one of the better coaches to coach in the NHL. It’s going to be a very, very exciting summer for us. - arichardson22
anyone else think he will be nothing more than a call up here and there, back to europe in a few years? |

I'm hoping that the organization can work with him on addressing certain issues this summer and that he can come back better prepared. He's still only 22. That said, he could be another Mika Pyorala type, but we'll see. For right now, he's just a call up guy.
I'd like to see the Flyers target Tomas Hyka this offseason to finally realize Hykamania. |
