Twice he hasnt had the fortitude to make the saves at the end of the game and in ot against philly. While this one was on the team in front..the last was all him...so woulda been nice to see him bail his team out here.

The Pens were really out gunning Philly through the first two. It easily could have been 4 or 5 to 0 after two. Hart more than did his job there.

I hate the Pens, but they always make for exciting games. Good luck to yinz the rest of the way...unless by some unlikely stroke of fate the Flyers squeak in and end up opposite you all in the second season.

Yup, and not even a penalty.

Despite suddenly being without Geno, it being a back to back with the Flyers fresh and the Flyers still hopeful and hungry as F to make playoffs, I believe the Pens were the better team but Hart was up to the challenge. Them tying it with only 18 seconds left and then winning it with only 4 seconds left leaves a sour taste no doubt but I'll take that point no sweat.

Moving on.

Malkin finished that last game. I'd say bruised ribs, which I've had two different times from hockey. Not fun. You don't realize how much you use your ribs until you hurt them. Bit of rest for him, anyways..

So Malkin out until the playoffs... at least
