I’d say goodbye to Granlund and spooner easy.
I’m keeping the other 4, because injuries

- dbot

Agreed. I mean, who else is coming to fill in those spots?

Hopefully they get rid of Sutter at the draft, and LE bites the bullet and retires July 2nd.

I would go three max

Leivo Pearson and Motte.

Getting rid of Goldy? For the last 10 games or so he looks like he's figuring it out.

I like that he isn't soft, ditto with Leivo.

I think Goldobin has done enough to earn a spot next year. I womder if that means the team trade Baertschi.

They don't have that much depth

You have to pick someone . I have nothing against Goldy but Canucks have 9 bottom 6 forwards right now. You have to start making some tough choices . Same with Jake and Hutton . I mean if you are bringing back the whole gang next year welcome to bottom 10 AGAIN

I would say pick two : Leivo Granlund Motte Pearson Spooner Goldobin
- VANTEL

Why just 2?

In no particular order.

Roussel, Boeser, Goldobin, Leivo, Pearson, Virtanen, Motte, MacEwan.

Pick two to leave. That's easy Spooner and Granlund.

I hope Jake is traded . He is too inconsistent . I would like to try to upgrade and a guy I keep coming back to is Kapanen.

Bottom line is Canucks need changes

And they have like 3 top six players right now. That's the bigger problem. Don't see anyone coming in to push players down the lineup and out, unless there's a UFA or two coming here.

Teams that lack high end talent like Van's that's normal. As better players develop the bottom 6's will be pushed downward and Vancouver will look like a respectable team. Maybe.

I agree, he still has some trade value but otherwise looks like an easily replaceable player.

And if you bring everyone back they will still have only 3 top 6 forwards .

I hope he stays unless it’s for an upgrade. Like had they traded him for Nino, I would’ve been happy. Or if they could package him for Kreider that would be sweet.

But if it’s for a similar player or a veteran then I don’t see the point

I know they said on the radio that the Oilers asked about him.

Pre or post Chiapet? He would of given up a lot for him.

I am never looking at trades for guys over 26 . Roussel basically does the job we hoped Jake would do. I always circle back to Jake for Fabbro .

Colin Miller or one of philly's young D would work for me.

I would like him too . You could probably get him for free if you took their last year of Clarksons contract

I'm leery of Fabbro, I think this board overrates him because he's from BC.

I also trust Nashville a lot more at assesing D than us. If they aren't willing to make room for him, I have doubts he is worth acquiring.

They are going to have to move some salary for sure. Patches perhaps?
