Oh yes, the blame game. The great America pastime.
One of my guilty pleasures is to read the comment sections on foxnews.com. It’s amazing that a culture that is so successful can produce such ignorance. - bloatedmosquito
They are extremely divided in their political beliefs, there’s no grey area, which is bizarre. It also annoys me how much of their population is completely ignorant of anything outside their state let alone their country. |

He does. I have a serious auto-immune disease that is passed on through genetics and he told my sister it was because of my hard way of living (partying too much) and that I had it coming. He is vehemently against medical marijuana, as well. - Marwood
Wow, complete idiot, is he related to Benning? |

I read some of the comments from Canadian media and there is an equal amount of shocking stupidity as well as blind hate. For that reason I read them very infrequently. |

I think you are in one of those perfect microcosms of American life. Wealthy, semiretired, and pale. Lol.
Anyway, I’m going to get flagged for non hockey related talk so I’ll relent.

Lol. I’m talking out of my ass because I love Cali. I mean in total love. If it wasn’t for all the people California represents perfect earth for me. For north to south east to west, it’s beautifully perfect.
There’s this small town called Pacific Grove outside of Monterrey. I would live there in a second. I can see why they choose to live in a bubble. |

I don’t like anywhere the taxes are really high, California and Canada can go f**k themselves |

Last 4 seasons
188 games 37 goals, 75 pts 30 years old
Vs
215 games 31 goals, 157 pts 24 years old
I think you must be confused, Wennberg is a hell of a lot more productive, despite having a very down year. He is also 6 years younger and put up 60 pts as a 22 year old. - belcherbd
I'm not confused at all - I know he's had some decent seasons and he's younger and less frail than Sutter but those 10 goals in the past 130+ games and contract don't appeal to met. I'm sure he'd be ok with Horvat but I think we can find someone as good if not better for cheaper from within. Id rather see how MacEwen, Goldy or Leivo do with Bo for a full season - without changing his linemates every period. |

You are so correct. I had no idea taxes were so high in Cali until I had a discussion with a local years ago. He made the same as me and paid slightly higher taxes (but had more write offs to balance it out).
But the real differencemaker was that he had to pay out all this money for a ton of different insurances for him and his family. I was shocked. No wonder there are so many working poor in the US. |

It would be nice to see him develop chemistry with two wingers for a period of time. I don't know if Leivo has the skills to become a legit 2nd line player. |

Wennberg isn't a shutdown centre. He's a playmaker. https://twitter.com/harmandayal2?lang=en
I wouldn't use Wennberg as a center in Vancouver. I'd use him as Horvat's winger. His contract is longer and more than Sutter's but Sutter has never broken 40 and is 5 years older. Sutter can't stay healthy in Vancouver.
Dubinsky's numbers are worse but he used to be a center and is more physical than Eriksson. Better suited for 4th line and PK than Eriksson.
Just a thought since all 4 players could probably use a change of scenery. - manvanfan
I meant he's producing like Eriksson - who's a 4th line/shutdown guy. He might flourish playing with Bo - who knows? But those goal totals scare me and he's playing with Bjorkstand, whos talented and offensive. He's putting up some decent assists but not enough to warrant taking on that contract. Just my opinion but it was a good topic - I'd be interested in Josh Andersson or Dzingle. |

Yeah Bo has had the most success with Sven and Boeser. I feel bad for Bo this year - he's had way too many wingers and all for short stretches.
I think about Spooner - who put up 40pts 3 years ago or Pearson's 44pts - 2 years ago and would interested to see how a full year with Bo would work - but for some reason I don't have faith we'll see those numbers again from either guy - but thats just based on a hunch.
The future Horvat line is big mystery |

It was just a thought since there are a few in here that want a change instead of bringing back the same line up next season.
I don't see Van getting into the top 4 and having a player able to make the roster next season from the draft. Call me crazy that they don't win a lotto spot or finish last
Haven't really seen Pearson or Leivo for a full season. |

Some guys aren't goal scorers, I think this team needs playmakers mote than finishers at this point. |

I thought Schaller had one of his best games against the Devils. 2 shots 2 hits in 7 minutes of hockey. One of his shots was a legit scoring chance from in close if I remember correctly. That's more than I remember Goldy doing |

Personally, I have way more fun down there and I’m less sedentary than I am in Canada. I’m way more active because I’m outside all year long in AZ. - LeftCoaster
If I could take my business down there and work I would move to the states tomorrow. I love being Canadian but you cant beat hawaii and the southern westerly states |

This is what kills me down here. Paying for health insurance (which I'm on basically super emergency get-hit-by-car type), otherwise paying for it monthly is ridiculously high. I'm also an artist, so maybe my career choice doesn't fit the best for paying for things like that myself
I'd rather pay higher taxes and have much more taken care of for me. One of the reasons I'm looking at moving... Berlin being my top choice of dream cities |
