Officiating has been subpar. The islanders aren’t skating tonight but three of the six calls were either terrible or borderline and they let that blatant penalty go.

I'm not too worried about them dropping out of the playoffs. It's mathematically possible, but unlikely. I more worried about them dropping to 3rd, losing home ice and the series to the Penguins.

Mathew Barzal couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat right now as far as scoring goals, but he's still 0-6-6 in the last six games and the main driver of just about everything the #Isles are doing on offense. I'll have a little more on him tomorrow @TheAthleticNYC.
