I might have underestimated Green. His choices for shooters were tankrific.

5 points for your boy in Calgary.

Devils win
Ducks win

They had 73 points last year, I said they wouldn't get that this year, if they lose enough it might come true

All the injuries haven’t stopped him from stepping in front of a puck.
Crazy that he tried to come back out.

That’s when they were born I would have guessed the Gillis years, doesn’t matter because it’s still a relevant description.

I'm actually not sure.... but it fit the narrative.

Brutal, guy is definitely a warrior. His style of play never helped his durability but cant' fault his heart.

He has the best attitude of any of our vets. If anyone on the team leads by example, it's him.

Tried to skate on a broken leg... That's some bad ass poop. Still, I can't help but think that this is a man who doesn't have a good appreciation for the value of pain. He doesn't seem to realize it's the bodies way of communicating injury and risk of further injury.

I think he understands whats going on, he just puts the game above it. I can't think of a time off the top of my head when he overplayed and aggravated anything

Canucks inability to defend the slot and get to the slot is a normal occurrence.

An article said this season that if both start the game team is 8 games above .500. With one or the other or both out they are 10 games below .500.

That stat probably says more about how bad are other D are, rather than how good edler and Tanev are lol.

I think of it as equal parts. The value that they show to the team and how it shows the lack of quality depth and how far the Canucks are away from contending.

Make believe on my part thinking that either Edler or Tanev could each play 60 games together in the season.

I don't see it that way. Both are good. Any team is going to be better with both of them in the line up consistently.

Another meaningless season coming to an end. Thank god.

Heading up to the cottage this weekend. 22 degrees predicted on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

All hail summer!

Thanks Carol, great job setting the stage.

What did I miss? A lot of arguing about the D I bet.

Teams best defenders get injured all the time. Edler and tanev are easily the teams best D, but that record without them playing just shows how inadequate the depth is at that position at the NHL level.

Nobody’s blaming the players. Players doing the best they can with the tools given. It’s the clowns pulling the strings that most of us have a problem with.

I have a problem with the players too.

Management is dumb to keep bringing them back but some of these players outright suck
