Sikura didn't "hot potato" the pass to Perlini - he put a perfect pass right on the stick where Perlini had a slam dunk. Perlini wanted to be a good team mate and help Sikura get his first goal and botched the play. No way does that get hung on Sikura.

i thought your Capfriendly lineup was a good start. Murphy plays both sides so pairing him with a RHD in Miller is still doable.

Do agree, though, with others that Dzingel will want more than $3.5M. Even if he does, your proposed lineup still had some cap space left. You could use some more for Dzingel and use some to upgrade the 3rd pair defense or another bottom 6 forward. Ideally both but that may be tough unless both sign for less than $2M each.

Without running Capfriendly myself, not sure how all of that will then play out for resigning DeBrincat and Strome. Like where your ideas are going, nonetheless.

But why do that? Murphy looks like poop on his offside. There is a reason not many demen play their offside anymore. The speed of the game is one and their skating ability is the other. The other yes forecheck are much faster as opposed to 20years ago. Plus Murphy isn't the best skater and is sometimes clumsy. Why make him play a side that makes him worse?

Agree...go for McNabb instead of Miller?

I think Marleau, at this stage of his career, really isn't an upgrade on the winger he would replace in the lineup. In fact I think taking TOI away from Kahun/Perlini/Sikura would be counterproductive to their growth as players just starting to find their stride.

I traded Gus and a second for Collin Miller, David Clarkston (LTIR with 1 year left) and a 2020 first.
I signed Dzingle for 3.5 (double his current salary)
I signed our RFAs to moderate raises.

This left us with $7 million in cap space if the cap goes up to 82.5

LOL that genre is essentially a mix of Metal and Electronic. Lots of Electric Guitar licks mixed into heavy bass. Quite the experience live and one heck of a release. My music taste is broad....from The Eagles, to Mettalica, to 311, to Blink 182, to Umphrey’s McGee, to Above and Beyond, and Bassnectar.

The worst thing about the Electromic Music Scene is all the young ladies walking around with virtually no clothes....

I’ll be at Lettuce at Red Rocks this summer too. Love me some Lettuce live. I can get down to anything besides Rap/Pop/County.

Avs Win, Wild Get one point, and Dallas losing to Vancouver right now. Gunna be one heck of a finish. Flames clinched a playoff spot today.

Yes probably out for the year. Haula was a penalty killer with the a Wild, is a risk, but I personally am not a Cody Eakin fan, Thomas Nosek although not a center I think would be a good get as a PKer 4th liner

That was cool to watch. Bittersweet is right. All good things come to an end, I suppose. Those were some great years. I wish him well with his next gig.

I do not understand why Marleau is even being discussed. Marleau will be 40 years old when next season starts plus he has a NMC and his production has dropped off this year. Do we want another Kunitz next year?
If we are going to take advantage of another team's Cap woes, we should be able to do a lot better than that. Remember what teams did to us when we were at that place?

I would be very happy if they were able to sign Anders Lee or Brock Nelson but that's most likely not going to happen.

I'd rather take Horton's contract than Marleau and then have to feel obligated to play him most games. I don't want another geezer on his retirement tour clogging up the lineup so prospects that may have a future with the Hawks can't get in the lineup.
