I told breadbag a few weeks ago, the pp was going to cool off and the pk would heat up again. For some reason, they can't ever be good at both at the same time. I know the pk is 31st, but has looked so much better of late.

They do so far in this game. I do like that the captain is getting pissed off a bit. There's some BS calls, others say it's whining. It just shows what a competitor he is. All signs are this team is trending upwards. Whether they make the playoffs or not this should carry over to the next season.

Technically only the captains can argue (really “discuss”) with the refs, so it’s doing his job and standing up for teammates more than whining. Good on Toews!

Toews is my favorite player. I love his passion. Seeing him chirp more today made me realize he really hasn't done that as much this year and he's been playing better. I think being healthier and playing better has led to not chirping as much rather than the other way around. Maybe "whiny" was too harsh. I'm really enjoying his bounce back year

thats true but the refs will give alot more leeway with the captains and alts then they will with the others...yap or bang your stick = likley 2 min unsportsmanlike

I agree with you in his bounce back year. He is one of my favorite players. That fact that he is chirping back at the zebras is just giving him a bit more motivation. It's oh yeah call that BS call on me. Afterwards he puts the puck in the net. It's like his way of saying shove it.
