Bill Peters last 3 years with the Canes:
35-31-16
36-31-15
36-35-11

Rod Brind'amour's first year as HC (13 games remaining):
38-24-7

Always said Peters was a good tactical coach, but not the right one in Carolina and that he had room to improve. Brind'amour makes some weird personnel decisions as well.

Ferland is fine, he just has a nagging upper back injury that's seen him in and out of games a lot.

Dougie's turned it on big time and has as many goals as Hanifin has primary points.

Really the only part where the deal hasn't worked out as hoped for Carolina is with Lindholm exploding, which I don't think anyone saw coming, but good for him because he's great.

- BINGO!

You were here mocking us in pre-season games because of Peter's "not being able to make the playoffs"

Flames are gonna be over 100 points easy....take your lumps

Lets not forget that the Calgary guys are signed to ridiculously good deals and Ferland is about to leave town

Starting to think that maybe best if we do not finish first in the west. Lots more pressure to win. Obviously Vegas would be a tough team to beat but if they did it would be a huge confidence booster.

San Jose is looking legit.

San Jose terrifys me, but we can take them. Honestly don't care what position we make it in. This season is already a success in terms of making headway in the standings regardless. Wherever we end up going into playoffs we're as good as anybody in the West and have a legit shot. We're going to have to beat at least one of San Jose or Vegas anyway. Doesn't really matter which round.
