"Coach Sullivan: "We brought Rusty on the trip because he's getting close. We wanted to get him around the team, get him in the practices. He's feeling really good. He's in a non-contact jersey but his status is day-to-day."
Sorry to you inform you Rino, but ZAR is out longer term/not day to day... |

Crazy that a guy who’s not a top 100 player was able to join such an exclusive list. |

20th all time in playoff scoring too.
That top 100 list included way too many old school players imo |

Didn’t know that but if trivia. Pretty impressive given that scoring rates are down in this era. |

Just read the power rankings on NHL.com, which I alwasy take with a grain of salt...but anyway, the little write up for the Pens was interesting. Sid is having one of his best seasons of his career. 8 points off tying his all time best 5 on 5 production. Unreal.
"Sidney Crosby has 64 points at even strength this season (22 goals, 42 assists), tied for third-most in his NHL career (2016-17). The center needs eight even-strength points to tie his NHL career high of 72 (36 goals, 36 assists) from the 2009-10 season. Crosby has 90 points (33 goals, 57 assists) in 67 games, giving him 1.34 points per game, fourth in the NHL." |

Hi gents, I haven't been around much the past year, and figured I'd just pop in and see how things looked, and as expected Ryan is doing a bang up job continuing to insult people who don't worship at the absolute analytics, and seems almost perturbed that Gudbranson is doing well both on the ice and in his prtotector role after he dumped all over the trade. Some things never change. - Emperor Filonius
Its funny as I live in the Vancouver market and the other day on the sports radio station a caller called in wondering why Gudbranson is all of a sudden flourishing in Pittsburgh and this caller was upset that he didn't play that way with Vancouver. The delusion of some people is amazing when all they do is look at analytics.
Analytics are simply for the people that need to be told how to think....this is why Ryan has become such a lover of analytics, he rarely can form an opinion without being told by analytics. There is a reason he whines/complains so much, he is balls deep down the rabbit hole. |

Personally, I think he is...especially if you take out the aforementioned older time players. |

A lot of guys were on the list for being very good for a long time even if they were never elite compared to peers. |

Just shy of a PPG player while also being crazy good defensively. One of the best 2 way guys ever IMO. |
