I’d be ok with Ansah on a “prove it” type 1 year deal

Hate that we overpaid an average TE
Would’ve liked to see that $$$ used better

Not a fan of the Gore move,
but he’s cheap & for 1 year- so it’s fine

Like the rest of the moves
Especially getting a good center to anchor our O-line

I’d be more than ok with Bell too
We should be building our team like Pitt did in Big Ben’s youth

Win with defense & the running game,
until Allen develops into a QB who can win games throwing over 30xs a game
That didn’t happen with Big Ben till YEAR SIX

We don’t need to rush Allen if we can build a team around him

- jdfitz77

don't know how you can't like that signing, The guy is a leader and a hard runner, and it's only for one year...

Where?

aside from jokingly calling him clank when he hit 9 or 10 goal posts in a 3 game stretch

where have I shown ANY hate on Jack

I don't get on my knees for him and name him king over mcdavid or matthews, but that is my opinion that those 2 are better then him

I have never shown any hate toward him

I have said he could skate back harder, which is what I expect a young captain to do to earn respect of his team mates

but I have never said bad things about the hockey player named eichel

do you think it's wrong to ask them to do a little more?

hardly classify that as HATE

I said you've dipped your toe in it.

You're very careful to phrase things cryptically, or disguise things as a joke.

You're gaslighting me now acting like this isn't exactly how it started before

It'll probably escalate somewhat over the summer, and depending how next year starts, it'll heat up or cool off.

I'll get back to you when Jack crashes into a restaurant drunk and knocks up a woman and doesn't step up and marry her

One of my best friends was killed by a drunk driver and I was raised catholic

Until then, let's all enjoy chips and candy bars off of food stamps

I wonder if we are happy at LT
I hope so, bc I’m not a fan of drafting O-line in Round1
As it stands, for the draft, i would...

Round1- LB Devin White (LSU)
-build our LB core around him & Edmunds for the next 8years or so. He’s described as a “bigger, faster, Rowquan Smith”
Yes, please

Round2- DT Dre’Mont Jones (Ohio St)
-good against the run, but also provides a legit pass rush from the inside- which is extremely important in disrupting today’s QBs imo

Round3- pass rusher or WR
-i think there will be some good WRs still available, but if Miller (Alabama) or Walker (Georgia) are still around- getting an outside pass rusher would be a really good thing for our defense as well- and we could still potentially get a decent WR in Round4 with how deep the position is.
Maybe even consider a good receiving TE if someone like Caleb Wilson (Ucla) is still available?

*ideally, we could trade back a few slots in the 1st and get an extra 2nd or 3rd that would allow us to get 4 of the above pieces

We still aren’t gonna be a complete team after this offseason
But just keep building it up around Allen
And keep developing our young QB

I like White a lot

then in rounds 2-4

get a rb, te, and a d lineman, no particular order

Still need a WR

Both of the WR's signed are easily cutable after a year or two

You left Matt Milano off that list, adding White would give them three really good young LB's.

Isabell could drop to Round4 bc of his size & be a natural replacement in the slot for Beasley in a couple years
He might go in the 3rd bc of his fast 40 time though

We aren’t gonna fill ALL our holes this offseason
Gotta keep that in mind

I like Milano
Just wouldn’t put him in the class as the other 2
But yeah... we’d have 3 LBs that I’d really like as a group

White can play any of the 3 LB spots too
Edmunds can shift to the outside as well
Nice to have that versatility

With 2 picks in the 4th,
we could hit on a WR and an interior O-lineman that could grow to become starters for us

There’s even gonna be some WR talent around in the 5th that could develop into something

I consider anything after Round 3 to be lotto tickets for the most part though
Some will hit, some will miss
Most will just be depth

They been much better recently at drafting late round picks, almost guarantee one or two is a solid player again this year.

As I just reported on @nflnetwork ... the @nyjets are getting antsy, and their offer to Le'Veon Bell likely won't last past tonight. If he's going to sign there it probably will have to happen very soon.

No leave White for the Broncos. A LB core of Chubb, White, Davis, Von with Fangio at the controls and I’ll cream all over my wall.
