I was there a few weeks ago...then I realized how enjoyable it was watching Tampa take apart the Leafs.

My playoff enjoyment is going to be centered entirely around watching Boston make Babcock have a meltdown, and watching Matthews crying after being nailed to the bench again.

My distaste for the Leafs only increased when I realized how much they’re gonna make me root for the Bruins when they face each other in the playoffs.

Oates and Ciccerelli at HOFers so I’d say they are more than quality.

Brian Rafalski
Cujo
Dan Girardi
Andy MacDonald
Sean Avery (maybe for the wrong reasons)
Roli the Goalie
Tim Kerr

The question was..."who was the last ….".....Oates and Ciccerelli played 25 years ago.

So.....to answer the ACTUAL QUESTION THAT WAS ASKED..."who was the LAST undrafted college player to make an IMPACT"....

Ill stay with "Kunitz and Giordano are pretty quality answers"....

if in fact, they were undrafted college players..

the reading comprehension on this page astounds me....

No way, we got SKINNER!!! Hes one of the worlds best 5 on 5 snipers.

Hes playing for his 9 million a year contract. Nothing can stop his endless motor and unique ability to always find the back of the net....

Just imagine how bad the last two games would have been if our sniper wasn't filling the net...

oh wait...nevermind

Really, you're still flying off the handle about Skinner the next day? You're helpless.

Gio was an undrafted kid out of the OHL.

Kunitz played for Ferris State.

74 guys suited up last year that were Undrafted College guys. That represents half of all undrafted players to play last year.

that was kind of my point.. with upgrades in scouting and more ways to get visual on people with the interweb and what not the chances of "missing" the impact players is going to be much much less than it was in the Adam Oats days. the only way a player ends up being missed that badly now is just because they were never really that good until something clicked later on in their career. That could be just the right coach, coordination issues with growth or maturity.. but i don't think a player is getting missed because they are from podunk montana and didn't get the visuals that someone from Toronto got anymore

i don't doubt they are out there.. but most are not impact players. I am all for taking a shot on a guy, but i don't think we can hang our hat on those guys

Nope most make very good AHLers and there’s nothing wrong with that. Getting paid a living wage to play a game is never a bad thing.

It’s only going to get worse when Skinner bolts in July.

That would be a disaster
