Right. It just fell off - “upward.”

I’ll let it go. It’s not all that important.

- Der Kaiser

The helmet went upward at first. That’s where I thought you were going with it.

I see what you’re saying but still that’s not ripping it off...unless you slow it down and using slow motion you think he has enough time to realize what is going on when in actuality at full speed it’s next to impossible to make that reaction.

Watch the first view of the hit. That’s how fast it was.

You say intent I don’t see it and if you do my little experiement you’ll see what I mean.

Hmm, Colts former GM who now is a consultant for the Seahawks was just in the bar for lunch. Wonder who he was checking out?

Pro day at New Era. Could see them interested in Tyree. They need a backup now that Hundley is gone.

I really don't see much difference between Jack's hit and this one by Buff that was deemed not suspension worthy

https://youtu.be/WYgmU4_VUtY

Could be that the rules have changed or just the tint in the lenses changed.

- adambuffalo

If that happened this year I’d agree with you.

That was 2015.

The rules have been tweaked and changed and emphasis on point of contact, player vulnerability etc has changed as well.

I've been hoping the Bill's are throwing a smoke screen in regards to tyree.

Signed Anderson and barkley.

Nothing to see over here, we are maximized at the QB position?

Why the Bill's overlooked kahil mack?
Mindboggling

He would be the ideal backup to Allen.

They have a similar skill set. But I don’t think they’re thinking QB.

I think Johnson could be a Bill if he is still there in the 3rd

How does a pull down motion cause the helmet to come off upward?

Edit:

I see what you’re saying but that’s at slow motion. Everything looks bad at slow motion.

Again though I stand by what I said. There was no ripping motion.

Cry about it some more.

Zadorov didn’t rip Jacks helmet off.

To rip someone’s helmet off you use your glove and pull away.

That didn’t happen.

Skinner got tripped it was a penalty.

Funny how nobody in the media thought it was dirty. How not one player said it was dirty but some clown who thinks he knows everything.

My judgement is spot on. You’re a clown and fine if you’re not playing in the 50 and over league go back to the C league where you belong.

The real reason you stopped playing is because you don’t understand how the game is played. You don’t understand what a penalty is. You also probably played in a league where most players can’t stop and would bump into you and you’d be crying for a penalty.

My officiating career went a lot farther than any playing career you had did.

I know what I’m talking about, you just think you know which is the worst trait to have as a person. You’re probably the type to argue with your doctor about something because you read an article online.

You think you know but you really don’t. So why don’t you just move along and not mention me anymore? K thanks.

Sabres draft picks I'm hoping for:

Bowen Byram
Arthur Kaliyev

Slim chance, but one can hope.

I love Byram but man we need offense. If we are picking in the 6-8 range it needs to be whoever is left between Zegras/Turcotte/Boldy/Cozens. Podkolzin is an interesting case by Russian factor is looming large here.

I haven't read any of this thread but heres my take on the Colorado game...

(I might just be repeating what others have said, my apologies, if so)

Zadorov was throwing a check. He was making a HIT. A hockey play.

Eichel was head hunting.

The league handled both the correct way.

I think we need it all, so was just going BPA honestly. I was working off the assumption of picking 7th and 18th. Byram falls in a few drafts, just seems to be a more solid prospect than the rest. He oozes offense too.

I'm not a big fan of Pod. I can't explain exactly what it is, but I am not sure his skill set will translate to the pros. He dangles for separation a lot, I just don't see a lot of the moves he uses working at the pro level. He's either PKane or a turnover machine.

In the video the nhl said he made significant hip contact with Gallaghers hand before the head contact.... unbelieveable.

I mean go back to the Ottawa brawl

The league had no issue with the hit on Drury.

They’re making changes as far as player safety but man they have a way to go.

This is just who he is.

He's a really nice player. He's also wildly inconsistent. The number of goals he scored early in the year was way, way beyond his statistical average, and now he's in a massive slump, dragging him back closer to said average. It happens.

It doesn't make him a bad player, he's just not the unstoppable force he masqueraded as earlier in the year.

Go back to your old avatar.

Skinner is 4 goals away from 40. That's pretty unstoppable IMO.

It's pretty great, yes, and I'm not disputing that.

More that it probably won't be the norm for him, because it's never been the norm for him.

Just like the 12 game goalless drought doesn't mean he sucks. He doesn't, and he'll go back to putting them in the net shortly I'm sure.
