Remembering how exciting things were in November to how bleak they are now.

It's almost comical

I don't know what I am more worried about, the blue line or the middle 6 forward group.

- Stripes77

Almost.

They cut me deep this year. I thought we were finally beyond it. Now I'm not sure next year looks any better. Probably start with Housley. The middle 6 and blue line won't change much. We may lose Skinner for nothing.

I hang my head in shame.

I did not watch the game, but I would go out on a limb and say not impressive.....
- hehateme

Watch it.

I think you will see he was actually very solid. Looked frazzled on the PP, not sure where to go, but 5v5 he was fine.

If Skinner walks they (Pegulas) better hope the Bills are good or this could be a rough 2019 for them

Actually a little hopeful the Bills can be competitive this year. You're right though, if the Bills falter, it'll be a long year for old T-Pegs.

Not wrong.

And to think Jack, Risto and Sam used to be 3/5ths of a top5 PP unit.

Good thing you'll never have to worry about that

I don't have to worry about reffing the over 50 League hockey at holiday and leisure

It's all on Allen now

I am hopeful as well but we as Buffalo fans know where hope gets us...

Sucks that both the Jets and Browns really improved as well over the past couple of days. Figures. We gave a great start to FA for once, and then so do the Jets and friggin Browns. I used to say (all the time !) "We'll, at least we're not the Jets/Browns". Probably can't use that one anymore.

The Bills need to win 9 games this season.

No excuses.

The Browns are going to win the AFC North

The Jets didn't have as good of Free Agency as people think

They still need help on their OL and LBs

They got a true RB for Darnold but Barr backing out didn't help their D which I think still needs improvement.

10 games or bust for them

Have to win 10 to have a shot at the playoffs

The AFC is stacked with top heavy teams

Chiefs
Chargers
Patriots

Browns should win the North
Colts the South

That leaves 1 wildcard spot open with whoever doesn't win the West (Chargers or Chiefs)

Pushing for the last wildcard spot:

Steelers Texans Titans Bills Ravens Jets Jags

Broncos Raiders Not sold on either team

Bengals Dolphins Are a mess

I am very curious to what a year off did to Bell

It might be great for him but it might be bad

How much this team has regressed is mind boggling but they'll have more points then last year and say see, we improved

A bunch of solid team friendly deals which the Bills can get out of in a year or two if they player doesn't work out

The got depth and a few starters

It was all in all a solid free agency period for them.

Beane did a good job so far.

Hopefully he drafts well again.

They gave Allen some weapons as well.

I really feel like Beane has put us in a position to win on josh's rookie deal.

Seems like we have a plan for a change.

Allen is gonna be feeling the eichel franchise on your shoulders pressure soon, if not already

What I really like is after the $10 million or so for the draft picks the Bills should have about $30 million in cap space as well.

Meaning they can add when there are cap casualties if they see fit or roll over the cap space for next season as well.

Beane really did a good job of getting the cap situation under control.

You're absolutely right about Allen. I think he can handle the pressure, however if he doesn't keep improving teams are going to figure him out real quick.

I am cautiously optimistic as I am about all Buffalo teams.

Terry P is doing great; long year for fans who want to see wins, you mean.
