It’s not like i don’t see where you’re coming from

Obviously there’s a better chance the guy picked at 8 will be better than the guy picked 12th

But the margin isn’t nearly big enough,
nor is the guy we are getting in either spot talented enough,
for me to justify cheering for us to lose

But hey...
F THE LEAFS 😁😁😁

It's not just the differance between 8th and 12th it's the chance to get into the top 3 as well.

I mean we moved E.Kane and ROR and I’m sure Botts hoped that Berglund could take some of the load off Mitts but that obviously didn’t come to fruition. The Skinner deal was very good value for what we gave up, but apart from that trade, Botts did nothing to signify this was playoffs or bust. I don’t think moving a conditional 4th for Sheary and Hunwick was a trade that signifies anything other then having NHL bodies to keep guys like Olofsson, Asplund, Nylander developing in Rochester. It wasn’t a stealth tank, sure as heck wasn’t going for broke either like the CBJ’s. Make of it what you wish I guess. However Botts didn’t make any panic moves to add to the flawed roster for an attempted playoff push when he had the chance
- Pegullaville

You make it sound like there’s actually a middle ground between all-out tank and selling the farm for a doomed playoff run.

Call me crazy for not getting all that excited for a 6% chance vs a 2.5% chance

It’s just exceptionally dumb luck either way

Sure
But that’s just dumb luck
We’ve already seen that first hand

Definitely

It was super fun

Regardless, pegullaville is right on alot of his tank posts

I'm with you, its getting old.

👍😀

I'd say were rebuilding when the gm traded away ek9 and ror for draft picks. That's a pretty good sign of a win in the future move.

Better make those draft picks count, though. But I think drafting is JB best attribute.

Not sure I’m liking all the moves Bills are making. They’re starting to peck away at their cap space. Beasley and Brown, ok, but did they need both of them? Neither are big time difference makers. Brown can get the yips. Now it seems like Foster or Jones will be odd man out and it better not be Foster. They nailed Foster. He needs to be as good or better this year and I think he will.

Gotta wonder how much input Bobby Johnson is having on these OL signings. These moves seem strategic. Hopefully it pays off.

Hockenson at #9. Final answer. Doooo it.

I think there’s room for all four of these receivers. Let’s open it up and have a more confident Allen pass more. And Foster facing lesser coverage might be a really good thing.

Barring a top guy falling in our laps (Q Will or J Taylor) I wanna trade down. But a TE at 9 would be a bold move. There supposed to be some very good ones this year. I’m glad you named a name took a stand.

Foster’s td’s against the Jags and Lions were the exact same route. Not sure I ever seen it. It’s either the deepest flag route that’s possible to be ran or a deep post to the opposite side line. Takes a ton of time to develop. I think it is impressive that Daboll would call so many downfield targets for a rookie qb. These aren’t streaks either. Deep hitches and in routes. Kurt Warner specials. Only good qbs can make those throws.

He can sling it like very very few before him. If he tightens up the shorter ranged stuff, and our wheelchair RB brigade is effective, that will give opposing defenses a lot to think about.

They both have legit shots next year. With the somewhat flukey nature of a short schedule, the Bills may be closer.

Bell signed with Jets... 13.1 mil a year... CJ Mosely 17 Mill a year

they just spent 30.1 mil a year on two guys. that's crazy!!! good luck filling in the rest of the team...

So he missed a year for nothing, basically. Kudos to him having the balls to tell the Steelers to pound sand, but in the end it seems to have not mattered so much.

Didn’t know about Bell. He’ll make them better and be a great weapon for Darnold. They’ve pick up some very good players, but spent a ton of dough. Greg Williams is a pr!ck but he can run a defense. They could be good next year.

Mittelstadt + Ristolainen + we take a Cap dump (Callahan)

for

Point +

The “+” could be something like Cernak or Cirelli or maybe a young, almost ready prospect.
They’ve got a few guys that are interesting in the AHL

Once we have some depth, Sheary is a 3,4 line guy. He would be a solid 3rd liner on most teams
- lulags

I can do without him. Just another guy in a jersey that tries hard. We have enough of that.

I hope the Sabres do before I stop giving a crap. Stopped watching the Bills 4 or 5 years ago. Can only cheer on mediocrity for so long.

The Browns are going to be a FORCE this year. So much talent on the offense and their defense is pretty stacked too. Good for them. I will def be watching some Browns games this year.

Are we the worst team in the league right now ? Seems like it. I think we have a real good shot at 27th overall (currently held by Anaheim with 65 points). I don't think we're catching NJ, LA, DET, or OTT for one of the bottom 4 positions, but 5th worst seems obtainable. Getting one of the top 2 lottery picks could really happen. That'd be a nice consolation prize to a sh!tty season.

Omg. We're talking about playoffs. It shouldn't be that hard for either of these teams to make it. Most teams do.

Look at the Coyotes. They are on the verge.

That 10 game winning streak really hurts right now.

It likely saved Housely's job and will cost us a very good shot at #1 overall.
