i disagree. He used the word "judiciously" about 100x, but also used the word "aggressive".

I am reasonably surprised he's done this much so far. AND all while maintaining a long term, clean cap. Zero boat anchors. You're "stuck" with these guys for 1 or 2 years. After that, dead cap for most of them is minimal, if you feel the need to drop them. Not to mention that Hughes and McCoy come off the books next year, and Trent Murphy has a big cap hit but a very small dead cap hit, especially after this season. Re-signing Hughes for half the term and dollars would be a solid move. Also, draft his replacement.

The league is widely inconsistent in their suspensions we know this.

However Eichel has tip toed that line a few times.

I agree with what Eichel said after the suspension came out.

However IF the NHL really wants to limit though head hits and after McDavid got a similar suspension I figured he was going to get 2 games.

I am good with the 2 games.

I agree with all of this. Eliminate all head hits. ALSO, adjust the damn rule book.
