I like the experimentation at this point in the season.

What I noticed was a sequence with Kahun - because AZ has no fear at all about any of the other guys playing with Kane, he is swarmed every time he has the puck. Had to chip in puck because his line mates weren't getting open. That's the stuff that is bothering me.

McDavid scored tonight so he is not tied with Kane with 97 points. There is no catching Kucherov and the way Kane and the PP has cooled off he will probably fall behind McDavid too. I'd be more concerned with Crosby streaking up the scoring sheet lately and passing Kane by the end of the season. The main thing for me is I would like to see him beat his personal best of 46 goals and 106 points - whatever position in league wide scoring really doesn't matter unless you're #1 and Kucherov pretty much has that locked up.

Yeah, I get that, but if you're still getting all of your scoring from two lines, does it matter if Kane is on one of them? Does it drastically change the defensive effort? I think for the latter, it just finally clicked with a lot of the guys and would continue regardless of where Kane plays.

Guys in the booth talking about how frustrated he is acting. Just think it's a crappy way to handle your best player.

ETA They just had an extended camera shot of him on the bench. He is PISSED. Yes, it's a team sport, but he also has earned the right to expect to be on a better line.
