Agreed I just thought he was more physical...not deterrent just more like ZAR or something hitting
- iworkatinitech

Idunno I think he's been plenty physical while playing within himself and sound hockey. Usually guys that jump out at you as overtly physical are running around chasing hits that the audience will remember, but that's not necessarily good hockey. Murray made the comment that he feels like he's getting run less now that Gudbranson's in town, and isn't that what you ultimately want from a physical player? A boost to the team's moral? Even if its not real and just perceived, the end is met and he's playing well, so I'm pretty content.

Oh they looked like dog shìt lol

They couldn't get any momentum going even with two power plays. Big difference from this game to last is A) they aren't keeping the Jackets to the perimeter; they're letting them at Murray and B) The Pens are being being kept to the perimeter.

I like his decision-making which is a lot more than I can say for you know who.

Like I said, the Jackets need this way more than us, we came out flat, they came out flying, and its their home ice to boot. I think getting out of that period only down one having shots on net generally equivalent is pretty good. The second is always a more equal period, so we have a big shot at turning the ice around here.

Pens have to come out of this period ahead IMO.

That seems to be the strategy now. Let Murr see the first shot and try to box out and clear. He’s giving up rebounds but they are getting them out of harms way and tying up pretty well.

I'd be happy if the Pens could at least swing some momentum with this.

Still dont get the love for Simon. He is useless. Really helped to kill that top line for about 3 periods now.

I wish the Pens had an alternate play to the drop pass entry.

I like Simon but I’ll agree he hasn’t been up to speed with that line.

Nice goal!!!

Ya its so predictable..their ability to go from dzone to set up the pp is prob the worst in the league. It's just gross.

Its effective, but its predictability is leading to diminishing returns, I think.
