Agreed here. I've been cautiously optimistic about Gudbranson so far. In the three games he's played the Pens haven't really faced teams that have an abundance of speed or very aggressive styles. I remain hopeful, but the next four games will be very telling IMO.

Compared to Boston, Washington and Columbus they're not very dynamic. Those teams have a much better mix of speed, physicality and a more attacking style. I'm just saying he's going to face many more players on that team capable of beating him wide.

Again, I've liked what I've seen and I remain cautiously optimistic.

If he collides with Dubinsky and they both vaporize I'll be happy with the deal. As long as he is healthy enough to do it again vs Wilson.

I’m definitely for how the NHL is evolving and I don’t buy in to the idea having brutish players will deter shenanigans. That being said, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at least a little curious to see Gudbranson in the Caps game.

Went downstairs to the grocery store I live on top of to get some stuff and there was this huge line going out the door and crowding up the produce section. Low and behold Tom (frank)ing Wilson is doing a meet and greet jersey signing. Dude even finds a way to (frank) up my errands.

I only believe brutish players will deter shenanigans if all the brutish players end each others careers and enter extinction. Sad part is that's not what happens. Gudbranson will take out Kuznetsov, Wilson will take out Guentzel, and the cycle will continue until the league starts ejecting for life and forfeiting draft picks.
