I think they're resting Gardiner and Kadri at this point; Gardiner has had back problems for a while and the next step would be offseason surgery (think it's the same thing Parise has).
- gravyface

I think Kadri accompanied the team on the West Coast road swing, so he can't be too far off.

You don't take a guy still suffering from concussion problems on an airplane.

We were at the game

Marincin and Petan were bad

Matthews was fine

Ennis worked hard

Marner was the best player on the ice

Tavares looked like he was skating in molasses

Glad for Leivo.....(and Schenn)

Just think.... if Schenn was drafted by the current regime ( and not rushed to the big club) he and Rielly would be the top pairing we are looking for

Crowd was 70% Leafs last night. Can’t believe they choked....

- mr.sir

Schenn can't skate.

It's a big problem in today's NHL.

Just ask Komisarek.

If the Leafs beat Crappy Edmonton that would be 5/6 points...if they did that the rest of the way that would be a 137 point pace

No. Schenn would still not be a top line Dman. Not matter how long they they kept him in the minors.
Bringing him up a little early didnt "ruin" him jesus.

- Fakepartofme

He would be the top RD on this team

137 points... Just enough to lose. Typical Leafs.

He's passed through waivers several times.

He's played in the AHL this year.

31 teams didn't want him.

Is it possible you are over-rating Luke Schenn?

That's because the crappy Canucks fans kept throwing molasses on the ice in front of him.

No, just saying if that he was stuck in the minors for a couple of years like Nylander, Kapanen, Dermott etc we would not have crushed his confidence
Bsrb could have helped with his skating

right, if they got 3/4 points the rest of the way, that would be a 123 point pace...the rest of the way
- senstroll

gotcha ya

If they had of won last night 4/4, then a year long pace would be 164 points.

Different times, but you may be right.

I think he'd get booed during the game when he touches the puck but the crowd would 100% not pull an Islanders and boo him during the tribute video.

Not currently....

Jeezus- read back to original post

My point is that we rushed him because we had a bad team and ruined his development

How dare you! If he had been on the Booins, he would have been a wussy version of McQuaid.

This is so (frank)ing dumb and I dont get why Dreger gets to talk Hockey on TV and Radio. He adds no value.

Nonis did far more Damage than good and its not even debatable. To attach him to this current team and anything Positive is pretty stupid.

Who is on the team that he is responsible for? Maybe Nylander...and I am still very skeptical he would have been his pick if he was the only one making the call

- senstroll

I saw that earlier and I couldn't believe he said it. Like, what an awful take. But literally everyone has been chewing Dreger up for it.

And I'm pretty sure the Bill Ny pick was Thommie Bergman slamming his fist on the table and telling everyone that they were drafting Bill Ny.

Exactly. Nylander is super overpaid and sucks. If Nonis was in charge he would have 30 point man Ritchie at 1.6mil.

We are currently on pace for 106 points - 1 point better than last year.

Tampa's currently on pace for 130 points - 2 shy of the Habs in 1976-77. Yes, no OT in 76-77, but it's still a frightening pace by the Lightning.

The Lightning are frightening.

Yeah, I just did that.
