I don't see the Leafs using someone like Marchmant. If they target toughness they will go for someone that also has offensive skill I would think. I wish 'em luck.

Leafs needed another D man that could skate in the OT, that was sorely missing. Watching Sandin play with the Marlies, I would be tempted to give him a few games. He has been great the last few games.

2 of the last three have been won by Pittsburgh.

Probably don't want to burn a year off his entry deal. Plus I think I've read that as long as he doesn't play in the NHL this year he'll be exempt from the next expansion draft. If that's true, it'd be another smart reason to keep him down this year.

And they keep finding them...theres an Alex Barre boullett kid on their farm. He's probably the next Tyler Johnson.

That's what I liked about the leafs before this draft. They'd sign guys like Moore a d draft guys like timashov and Brooks. I thought for sure they would have taken a shot at debrincat.
