You're right. This isn't wrong. I actually didn't see the Rielly hit tonight into the boards ppl were talking about. I missed about half of the third period, making a really late supper. Maybe someone should've done something and the truth is I agree our team is too soft sometimes.

I think a lot just disagree a bit about some of your examples or when they should do something.

Also your assertion we're doomed against a Boston team that hasn't changed that much from last year when we took them to 7 games, despite the huge additions to our own team.

I've been saying that last year. We have a lot of bottom depth in all positions so it's going to be interesting to see who can make it.

Another name I mentioned last year. IMO it will be Marchment or Engvall who make it as either a 4th line winger or extra body. Not sure which one it would be but I'd push for Engvall I think. I haven't watched enough Marlies this year to get a good gauge.

Sure. I used to love the LA/St. Louis smashmouth brand of hockey. I've never contested the addition of a little more grit. I just don't think it turns the tides of fortune so drastically anymore. Some still seem to think so. Just a disagreement.

Sure there'll be the bad game here or there, but prior to today Leafs were on a 12-4-2 pace over the last 18 games - hardly a problem

I don't see the Leafs using someone like Marchmant. If they target toughness they will go for someone that also has offensive skill I would think. I wish 'em luck.
