You just knew Leivo would score, Dubass thought it was more important to keep a roster spot for Marincin instead.

Mathews better start busting his ass, too many times he has been (frank)ing Lazy, that’s not good enough and stop with the god damn flybys, it’s really pissing me off. 11 plus million next year, better earn it.

He needs to be called out for his lack of effort.

Last year I'm pretty sure we had a winning record against the Bruins in the reg season. Fact is playoffs are different... if they werent.. the leafs would have smoked Carolina and lost to wings for the cup. Just as an example.
- mykokes

We have had so much success in the playoffs against them. You're right

It means we have a pretty damn good shot at beating Boston.

Despite you're infinite wisdom which foretells otherwise.

Babs wasn’t going to play Leivo. Blame Dubas. Smart.

It must be nice to complain so much about getting a point on the road when you’re sitting comfortably in a playoff spot. I have forgotten what that’s like.

Leafs should rest Freddy as much as possible down the stretch as they are going to need his A-game in the playoffs. I think him being more rested is more important then the home ice advantage.

This year's team is better than last years. Sure the Bruins are the favourites...but not by much if at all.

Even when Matthews has an off night, at the very least he is defensively sound, and I would say that was the case most of tonight, but him in OT was awful. I was quite surprised. He's not consistently amazing, but he's almost never bad.

I honestly don't understand why some people get as upset about things out of their control the way you do.

Five years ago we each would have given up a kidney for a team this good. Enjoy the ride.

They added Coyle. Leafs added Tavares. Seems like a wash.

While that makes a lot of sense, Freddy is a strange breed. He plays better the more he plays.

With all due respect Lou, this isn't on Dubas - it's on Babs. Babcock had him for a year and a half and didn't play him. Dubas has nothing to do with that.

But we didn't win in the playoffs...go figure eh.
I remember years ottawa would dominate us in the reg season...and would lose in the playoffs. I'm just saying..we haven't seen these kids play angry yet...and I'm expecting Matthews who will kick in playoff time. So will marner s. And the ahl champs Johnson and Moore are going to score some big goals.

Can you point out any specific plays he played poorly tonight? Or are you just basing your opinion on how often you hear Simpson say his name?
