All of the bottom 10 cap teams could easily afford it, as they have few if any players with expiring contracts, that will put them in cap he'll, plus they have the picks needed.
My guess is the Flyers will set the pace in that regards.

Green's done a hell of job building up him, Hutton, Stetcher, Baertschi and Markstrom.
Virtanen as well to certain extent.
All of those guys except Stetcher were on the cusp of losing their shot at the NHL.

I dont like some of his decisions but he deserves credit in turning chicken poop into chicken salad (shout out to Vantel).

If Goldobin can play like he has the last 4 or 5 games, all year, then he 100% deserves to be on the team and play in the top 6. I just wouldn't be surprised if he slips again and starts to forget to skate or play defensively tonight or the next game. Kid needs to prove he isn't streaky.
