I always liked Rielly. He was statistically a #1 D last year. I was confused by the continued question of it in the summer.
The guy was lacking PP time to bump the stats. That's it. Rielly the past 3 years has played brutal minutes defensively. There were D with bigger offensive stats considered better due to PP time, who played a much more sheltered role defenisvely.

I am pretty confused by the #1 D list anyways. Subban and Doughty has looked terrible this year, Karlsson is good, but not nearly at the level before his injury. They're usually 3 of the top 5 on everyone's list. Are they there right now?
