Therefore, let's just throw the whole defensive concept thing right out the window and go all out to score goals with the intention of losing games 10-7. Tell Kane and DeBrincat they're not allowed in the d-zone - they have to go full cherry picker and hang out just inside the red line waiting for a breakout pass (which really won't make the defense any worse anyway since neither of them can make a clearing pass anyway). Have the d-men pinch and dive into the o-zone all game long - 2-0 breakaways against our goalies be damned - we're here to score goals damn it.

I want to see Kane hit 50 goals and 120 points. I want to see DCat hit 45 goals and 82 points for a ppg average. I wand to see Toews have his career best scoring totals. I want to see Gustafsson hit 60+ points.

Entertainment! We want entertainment. If you can't make the playoffs - at least be entertaining.

Duncan Keith is still a solid 2nd pair guy (Most nights). But Hertl dancing him like a cone last night shows that he is no longer an Elite 1st pairing dman.

Disagree that 'Hertl danced him' - Keith pivoted the wrong direction --- he pivots to his left instead of right - there isn't that gap that was as big as the Grand Canyon. Keith just made a spit second mistake.

Foley was right, Kane is being overplayed. There is NO REASON to be triple shifting your 30 yr old to the point where he has no legs.
