Because I don't care for blaming the refs for wins/losses.
- j.boyd919

The Refs cost the Pens the game at the end, that much is clear, but they're not responsible for the Pens giving up a lead at the end of the game.

Bad officiating can absolutely cost you a game, but it's still nothing compared to squandered games of said teams. If the Pens showed up in games they shouldn't have lost earlier in the season, this wouldn't mean as much.

All teams lose a game or two because of the refs.

Did JT string them along? He was seriously considering staying despite the ineptitude of the franchise. I don’t think that’s stringing along. I think that’s giving a legitimate shot to an organization that maybe didn’t deserve it and squandered a ton of his Prime with uncompetitive teams.

The feeling is both JT and Snow screwed the fans. Snow for saying he wouldn't trade him and JT for somehow giving the impression he would commit and the team not even trading him prior to recoup assets. His bedroom post didn't help lol

I get it, the NYI aren't a model franchise and there arena sucks but I totally get the fan disappointment.

They threw things at him. None of that is justified.

I don't condone the throwing things but the feeling of disappointment and betrayal I understand. And in a certain sense its kind of fun. OKC-GS never used to be a thing and now its kind of interesting when they match up

I think the Durant is a snake narrative is overblown but his move to GS was an uninspired, blatant bail out to a guaranteed championship. I think OKC fans have a decent right to hate on the guy given that management had competently built around Him (although the fit between Durant and Westbrook was never perfect) and they had an actual shot to come out of the West before he left.

JT went back to his home after being Richarded around by Garth Snow and Capuano for years. I’m not saying that an Isles fan is wrong for not still loving JT. I think they have a right to feel feelings akin to being dumped by a significant other, but I would expect them to still appreciate what JT put into the franchise and understand why he moved on.

Westbrook, Harden, KD...and yet they (frank)ing hung onto Ibaka.

I'm sure the resentment while die down in subsequent matchups. Always expected the first return to be quite emotionally charged. A lot of those fans finally got it out of there system. We'll never know if he truly was being honest with himself in that he was 99% committed to NYI and then one day in the offseason everything changed, but

At least JT didn't pull a Jack McD. Lou would have been pissed

I have no idea if this is good news or bad. I was hoping for DeSmith honestly, but I'm not sure either is any good.

So... Not that I am against trying out Mccann on the top line due to his speed and that first goal... but is this pretty much confirming the rumor that Crosby has an issue with Horny on his line?

I think the record when both Sid and Geno score is pretty crazy.

The fans in the stadium had to go off to eat some baguettes and smoke cigarettes while they digest what’s happening on the ice.
