Be good to just grind out what we can over the next bit, and hopefully start to get everyone back healthy and in time to get back in sync before playoffs. Not to mention the depth d we were counting on healing up at that too.

Only thing that really concerns me at all is having Sparks as backup cause if anything happens to Freddy we are so facked it isn't funny. Still think we should just punt Sparks through waivers down and recall Hutch. Have more faith in him as a backup than the wanna be poor man's Dom Hasek impersonator.

You know, it's going out on a limb this late in the season, but I'd be inclined to give Scott or Woll a crack at it next time. Still young with no big league experience, but what the heck. I don't trust Hutch any more than Sparks.

I don’t think it’ll be the same on april 1st. Probably won’t be welcoming him with open arms, but I believe the 3 solid hours of booing and chanting are a one time thing.

Good luck to him in TO. Sadly, it looks like the leafs defensive play and aversion to any kind of physical play isn’t going to take them far in the playoffs. Was kind of hoping for an Isles/Leafs series.

Yes they can.

I hate offside reviews as much as the old foot in the crease rule, or ending games via the lameout. If a guy isn't clearly offside to the human eye, is the spirit of the offside rule really being violated? Can anyone look at that Marner to Hyman play the other night and say that's not a legit zone entry? It's not cherry picking or anything. It's such a entertainment killer in games too. I say let the linesman call it and own it.

Btw, isn't it awesome that the Leafs have a shot at going the entire season without participating in a lameout?
