He's actually 6'0 but been putting up a tremendous season for the Pelicans. I just like Laaksonen a lot more. - mhp
I’ve seen 6ft3 on two different scouting websites. |

Hockey db had him at 6'0. Who knows who is right. |

I can't figure it out, and even using the law of syllogism, an autorefractor, and an olfactometer
lines 1 and 2 are better breaking sam off the line, but yet when they need a goal, sam goes back to the line
yet pommer makes that line just as good as sam |

Did you use the law of Phyllish!temwithyerpurseism, though?
Cuz that explains it all. |

I'm still on the fence about trading Wristoe. I'm just not sure. - mhp
I agree.
He's a big powerful tough to play against guy.
I really enjoy his game.
But,
Sloppy in his own end.
Been here for a lot of losing too
Might be part of the losing core? |

Besides the first round pick, trading Risto is one of the few ways that I see to acquire that top 6 F/number 2 center we so desperately need, unless we overpay for someone in FA. |

I agree with you.
At times this season, pommer's value has been greater then reinharts on the top line.
I think sam helps the team more on the 2nd line.
Maybe his veteran leadership could wear off on Slow tage and mitts?
Aside from 2C . A right winger for jack will be addressed this offseason. - Boss34
I’m wondering if we even address “2C” this summer though?
I’d think they still plan on Mitts at 2C for the long term
So do they go out & sign a guy like Kevin Hayes in free agency?
Idk that they’d wanna commit to (likely) a long term deal for big $$$ with Mitts waiting in the wings
Do we wanna commit big $$$ to someone that’ll end being the 3C sooner than later? |

montour is playing with hunwick
nuff said - homiedclown
Of course Montour is gonna start on the 3rd pair
It would be dumb to put him in the top4 so quickly
Give him some time
He’ll move up the depth chart soon enough |

I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Brock Nelson tonight. Could be cheaper option and plays PK and PP. Could fit as the 3rd line C once Mitts figures it out. |

A soon to be 4 time 20 goal scorer from a division leading team. What's he get in FA? $5 Mil? |

You are so out there you can’t even take me complimenting Reinhart.
He’s making Casey better. Pominville cannot
Therefore Sam> Pommer
However, Pommer plays very well with Jack. He goes to the right spots |

No idea. Worth looking into though on our end. Hayes would fit as well but I’d assume he’d come in at $6M minimum. |

Meh
He’s a good 3C
Some here wanted to trade a 1st for him
That would’ve been moronic
No reason we can’t get a another good 3C at a reasonable cost |
