I did hear (through podcasts, interviews, etc) that there is gonna be a shakeup in Anaheim
That was fairly public knowledge
*probably more coming in the offseason

I just translated that to us hopefully grabbing someone from them

And bc of our needs (and their defensive depth) Manson & Montour seemed like very likely options

I also said no way to Getzlaf & Perry,
who ppl have brought up (too old, nmc)
And that we wouldn’t get Rakell from them,
bc i didn’t think they’d move their best young forward

none of this was “inside info”
If anything,
it was more just a prediction based on all the info that was out there

it's a different world under botts...they're keeping things much tighter to the vest...I for one am not offended if what they or anyone hears is off or even doesn't come to fruition...hell, I even get a kick out of the known absurdity of that insidrrrrr guy...

imo, we should all take it for what it is and not be offended either way...otherwise we'll just drive ourselves crazy....
