I am not a Housley fan but everyone blames the coaching. Since 2015 we've had 3 different coaches with only slightly improved results. Maybe it's more than the coaches. I know everyone wants us to fire Housley and hire coach Q because his record is so impressive. What if he fails? Is it still coaching? Look at the Oilers, they have hired two of the most successful coaches back to back in McLellan and Hitchcock. Look where they are. And after this season, they will be onto their next coach (maybe even coach Q?).

I think all of their issues start and end with ownership. The fish head is rotten at the top and it has spread through-out the organization. Kim Pegula has a B.A. from a liberal arts college and was a waitress when she snuggled up to Terry. Does this qualify her to become the President of two major league teams? Terry needs to fire a Shanahan type individual for both the Sabres and Bills and let them run the show. He just needs to write the checks and entertain his buddies in his private suite.

Tage is the worst I have seen not being able to hit the net since Alexi Zhitnik. I mean really, you can literally fit approx 9300 pucks into the net and this guy shoots 6ft wide all the time. If I was housley I would demand that Tage purposely miss the net on each shot, maybe he will actually hit the net that way...

Not saying TT is Kane. Still, Tage's shooting percentage this year is 7.5%. Kane's in his second season was 8.0%. If Tage can get some time, particularly outside our frightful bottom 6, and increase his volume, he could be a 20 goal scorer pretty easily.

Just saying, he COULD turn into a poor man's EK9. Needs to work on his speed. Has time to improve. AHL playoffs could help his confidence immensely.

he absolutely has room for growth, My main gripe is missing the net in prime areas, (like 10ft out) he seems to shoot wide more often then not on those opportunities.

we are playing at last years pace after the 10 game win streak

I expect panthers, yotes, rangers, hawks and nucks to all pass us in the next week


when the dust settles I bet we are a bottom 5 team at the end of the year
