We have a lot of D coming up(lol) through the ranks right now. Guhle was our top prospect but really struggled this year and started to fall out of favor. Pilut passed him up and the writing was kind of on the wall after that. I like the kid, if he can get better defensively he could be a solid. I hope he does well for you guys!

I watched the game last night.

Guhle played alot, but had a hard time keeping the puck in the zone.

Jumped up as a forward too much

And lost 4-0

It was just 1 game, but I was unimpressed.
I always liked guhle too

He impressed us as well but got bumped down behind players like Pilut and Dahlin. We all thought he was going to be a solid top 4 with speed. An AHL all star. Maybe he pans out - who knows.

When the Pegulas sent out a face and voice to say they needed stadium and arena renovations/money, it was Bruce Popko. So this is a big, big shakeup.

Let me Just say that Buffalo must have insanely good D depth to trade Guhle.
He was, at last night much better than advertised.
Crazy Fast & quick / good decisions/ accurate shot / better than ok in his own end. and only 21 ...

Rumor was he wasn’t playing nice with the coaches and apparently Botts had nothing nice to say about him.

I’d say the majority of us thought he was going to be a solid top 4 guy.

Someone here stated they heard from a scout that Guhle was going to be a good NHLer but that it was going to be with a different organization.

Nobody says content is restricted to Sabres hockey play. We welcome you both to the debate over olives and mayonnaise based salads.

But if a guy jumps in on a hockey board demanding that "I get my props" it needs to be something people are willing to give him props over, and that's more than "three suits in a company loosely affiliated with the team lost their jobs.'

Ya not props for this but I will say Sabres 39 is the only guy I ever saw nail a trade in here with real info. Crushed the kane trade, got tallinder out of nowhere and there was another guy, a goalie I think.
