I have a lot of friends and family still into it, so I can't not at least follow it casually if only to humor them.

My cousin said it best to an uncle of ours. They were talking about wrestling at a family gathering and an uncle of ours goes:

"You know wrestling is fake, right?"

And my cousin says:

"You ever seen Die Hard? You know when he blows up that building it's fake right? But you still like Die Hard, right?"

It was pretty funny.

It's the same thing as being a fan of any tv program, except this is live-action. Who cares. I don't watch wrestling but on the rare occasion I flipped channels in my hotel rooms, it was reasonably entertaining.
