When is Kampf back? He’s better than both of them - EnzoD
They play different positions. A couple more weeks for Kampf. I think Sikura has gotten better every game. He makes rookie mistakes cause, well ya know, he is a rookie. He also makes some pretty good plays out there. He was a 6th round pick. I never expected him to jump into the NHL and set it on fire.
Maybe our expectations are different for him. He has 10 points in his 25ish games. |

Extended media scrum with JC today re: goalie situation, his own experience so far, locker room dynamics, etc. ETA: he IS asked directly to explain the D system

I do always like to hear what they are thinking - pdx2ord
Thanks for the link, it makes sense when he says we don't want our guys chasing the puck but we do want them to know their assignments?

Wow, the mental gymnastics people go thru to rationalize Dayley/Kempny decisions.
Absolute joke.
System changes and the like.
Q lost his room a few years ago because of these stubborn and stupid decisions.
Splitting hairs on passing etc....Dayley and Leddy are great passers. - TrueGrit
But look at Gus. He was not a Q favorite either, but now he's in Colliton's system and he's excelling (offensively). Daley and Leddy are more like Gus. They couldn't all exist together, but I bet Daley and Leddy would both be better in the current system than Q's.

TG, you didn't read what I said. Leddy and Daley are great passers. Q didnt mesh with when they decided to make their first pass which he wanted them to do immediately. |

9 pts in 23. And 2 total hits in those 23 games. Whats up with that? |

I'm fully aware that they play different positions, but watching Sikura reminds me of Danault when he first came up. He has speed, and is willing to forecheck, but just isn't great at it yet and is kind of slight. I say we let him develop a bit before burying him.
As tickets are readily available (and relatively cheap), I am going to the game tonight (I'm sure you all are happy for me). Implications are that CC starts tonight. |

He's already inducted into the Philadelphia Flyers Ring Of Fame after the hit he put on Rasmus Dahlin last night. |

All depends on how productive he is. They have plenty of guys that are "hard-nosed". They need players that can actually score points and play a solid two-way game. Sounds like another team I know. |

Excited to see Crow back, but man am I worried about his health.
Hopefully the boys in front of him really try to keep the crease clean and prevent any shenanigans moving forward. |

So Q should have changed his system to fit Daley? A system that he won 3 Cups using?
Let's not forget that Daley is the one who went and asked for a trade. IF what was reported by a couple of sources is to be believed. - Elbows15
Yes. Q held back guys in order to win cups. He should have just thrown the puck on the ice and let everyone do whatever he want
Apparently that's how he "lost the locker room" haha. Another good one out there |

Those 3 are the best of the worst. Hawks have no chance at getting top 3 lottery odds IMO. |

Kampf/Anisimov can both play wing - EnzoD
They can. Let Kampf play center and gain more experience there. He could be the shutdown center going forward. Hawks are kinda of limited at the center position anyway. Unless you have a need to see more Kruger. What is the harm is letting Sikura play? This team is going nowhere. Better to find out now if he can be a useful piece moving forward. |

It's all about the ping pong balls. Carolina got the 2nd pick after finishing 11th worst last season. |
