Every time Eichel is on the ice I hear his name multiple times. Did you see 2/3 leaf Penalty killers jump out to the point leaving skinner and Reinhart untouched out front on that power play goal ? Other then Matthews’ goal how noticeable has he been ?

Toronto is just on another level compared to Buffalo. Deeper everywhere’s and enough talent to score in bunches.

Having said that have faith Sabres fans. Eichel is a star. Dahlin is/will be a star.

I think Montour is a very good defenseman, surprised at how cheap he came.

I’m not sold on Housley and he was a beauty (played a game for the Blue and White anyways 😉).

I know it’s easy to say this in hindsight and we don’t know if he was ever actually available but I thought this summer Buffalo should’ve made a pitch for Pekka Rinne. I think we would be looking at a different Buffalo team today if they did.
