Matthews wasn't very noticeable because he didn't need to be. When the Sabres hopefully have an equally talented roster, you won't "notice" Eichel as much either, except when it really matters.

Lots of passive aggressives on this site. They lost to a better team simple as that. But they are progressing. The hockey is far more entertaining to watch this year compared to the previous 5 years. At least they have a chance to win in every game they play. Yes, they are a very frustrating team to watch because of their inconsistencies but that is to be expected. Let's see what happens with Montour in the line-up. Good things are happening just not in a consistent way. Growing pains.
