Markstrom will make a late season push and win a vezina with Gudbranson gone
- Nucker101

First shutout of the season a coincidence?

What's the odds Guddy was injured during Marky's first 2

I had no idea we hadn't shut out a single opponent yet this year

Schenn's 1st game = Marky's 3rd SO

Stetcher has really improved this year, best dman? could be, the competition really sucks.

I think I am officially in love with Bo's girlfriend Holly, solid young lady, another positive for Bo

For the season? I would say yes, too many will pick Pettersson
- Makita

Marky would be in contention as well.

I'd vote Pettersson, Markstrom then Bo. In that order.

I can't argue with that, but it's not a popular stance quite yet, you, hertzman and I are so far the only ones ahead of the curve.

I'm hoping coach Q comes over TBH.

Think he wants to coach a winner, not an up and comer. I could see Winnipeg, San Jose or Tampa (or similar) making a bid for him if they don’t make the final.

Canucks forward depth going into next year in no particular order. Bolded are RFA's

I assume Granlund isn't resigned but the other should be. There is going to be some trades....

Baertschi Horvat Boeser
Leivo Pettersson Virtanen
Pearson Sutter Eriksson
Spooner Gaudette Motte
Granlund Beagle
Roussel
Goldobin
Schaller

That's kinda the point, we might be at the cap limit because of all the buyouts

Sven retires.
Sutter should be waived (similar to Gagner this year).
Schaller too.

Sven is skating I heard on the radio, so that's a nice fantasy.

I imagine Schaller is a buyout as you could save 500K perhaps. I cant see buying out or waiving Sutter.

Well, i'm glad he's skating, but i hope he shuts it down for his own sake.

At this point, i'd like to see:

Pearson-Horvat-Leivo
Goldobin-Petersson-Boeser
Rousell-Gaudette-Virtanen
Eriksson-Beagle-Motte
Spooner

However you can: Get rid of Sutter, Granlund, Schaller, and give Sven a job with the club.

I hope hes fine too and shuts it down if neccessary but I doubt he does.

I wonder if a team would bite on Eriksson @ 50% retained, unfortunately he has full NTC for 2 more years...
