Edler is already skating with the team, so should be back in the next week.

Biega can take a seat again.
Finally.

I like how JB said that they were going to revamp the back end this off-season.

I'd like to see them trade Tanev.
promote OJ and Hughes.

That’s fine, but last year post TDL he said something like “I only want to be here if I’m wanted”.

Don’t say that poop if you’re not gonna waive lol

Rinne is the key. Much like Lou he picks a round to choke in...just don't know which one.

I'll reiterate that i really like today's deadline deals.

I think at the end of the day Pearson is more valuable to the Canucks on the ice, and it also opens a roster spot for a younger Dman. Pearson has really struggled this season but at least he can skate, and play in the bottom 6.

As for Dahlen, he is skilled but struggles to play at both ends of the rink. It doesn't help that he didn't want to be here. Karlsson might not have the same skill level, but he's 2 years younger and will probably be 20 lbs heavier with more defensive acumen. It's not like he's without skill either. At the end of the day, I guess I trust our European scouts (especially Sweden) more than any of the others with the possible exception of US college.

Carolina has 7 top 10 picks since 2003, with 3 or 4 top 15 picks in that time frame.

West Final

San Jose vs Winnipeg

East Final

Tampa vs Washington

- LeftCoaster

Yep that's exactly who I have in my pre-season pool.

I took the Jets over Tampa in 6 in the finals.

Would love to see a CDN team like the Jets break the Bettman curse but I fear he will never let it happen.

Id like to see SJS win, similar feel to Wsh last year.

If they won I'd be good with it. Even though they are playing solid hockey Tampa really is a league above the rest and theoretically should be next to impossible to beat...but they said the same about the 2011 Nucks...

The scary thing about the Leafs is I think they're the best 5 vs 5 team in the league, and that PP can wake up at any time.

If they get the goaltending, they have a good shot.

Not this year IMO. They are still one dman and forward away from going deep. Soft as well. They can beat BOS but WAS and TBAY will have their way with the Leafs IMO...especially Tampa. My take anyways.

Plus 5/5 play in reg season doesn't really translate to the PO's...different game.

People wanted a high draft pick . They wanted Jack Hughes. Benning provided them the best D to reach that hope.

That's what I have had all year. Honestly no idea who comes out of it, my gut says SJ but my head says TB
- neem55

I question whether SJ has the goaltending to win

Tell that to the Bruins in 2011.

I think it's more telling when the game tightens up and less penalties are called.

Exactly. And the Leafs aren't anywhere near built like the 2011 Bruins IMO.

Keller and Strome don't look as good as Petey Boeser but still decent players. It's a pretty good example though.

That wasn't the question. They've drafted top 10 3 out 5 multiple times and managed to get 1-2 good players from those years.

Yep, 5v5 way more indicative of success IMO but leads will not get past 2nd.

Thanks for the link.
Sounds like Dahlen was acting like an entitled littlebiatch
Wonder if this is who Demko was refering to, when he was talking about the negativism in the dressing room?

You can take it to the bank JP Barry broke Benning's balls getting Dahlen traded.
