Id have to think Johnson or Pearson are going the other way if they did it. If a first goes the other way in a trade for Ceci I'd lose my marbles.

If we traded for a defenseman, assuming its a bottom pairing defenseman, we'd have 5 rostered defensemen that you really don't want playing any higher than the third pairing when everyone's healthy. That's completely unnecessary and should be avoided.

If the right trade for an actually good defenseman is there, obviously you do it, but beyond that, we should just call up Prow and ride out these injuries. For all we know they're not even long term. Expending assets for yet another poopty bottom pairing guy to plug a short term hole is not only dumb, it also robs us of the opportunity to accurately evaluate Prow.

Dallas gave up a ton for Zucc and he was injured in his first game and out for the season... So yes, I'd hate to load up.
