I won't lie, if that Flyer win over the Penguins is what broke the Penguins back for making the playoffs...

I feel warm and fuzzy.

I guess you have to have something to root for.

No it is Letang's fault that a he got taken down by a 5'11" 180lb player. He has a history of bad injuries and what was he going to do, square up with Simmonds? No he would have lived up to his namesake Le-Tang and thrown punches at him from behind the refs? Leave the fighting and scrums to real men.

are you the flyers guy who suggested gudas stick to kucherov was 0% intent, 100% accidental and the league is perpetually rigged in the pens favor? or was that someone else?

Why is "game " in quotes?
- jmatchett383

Game was in quotes because in my opinion, which is just that my opinion, that was not much of a hockey game as it was skating around a little until a whistle and more meathead scrums. The conditions were awful and it showed throughout with neither team able to complete passes, the puck slowing and stopping due to rain and slush...and some of the worst officiating I’ve seen in quite some time. Before anyone claims a homer bias I’m saying the BS between whistles head shots etc take away from any skill that can be gleaned...there wasn’t much on display last night. (As always Hornqvist was in the middle of that crap too)

Hot take: fans of a team will defend their teams players actions while condemning opposing players for doing the literal exact same thing

Hotter take: this isn't just a Pennsylvania phenomenon

I hope, it will give good incentive to the game. The Flyers are out already, but i am torn because you know if the Penguins miss the playoffs Bettman will make sure the Penguins win the lotto.

Because obviously it was decided for the flyers way in advance by the league
- bulet13

Oh please go away, go to your teams forum if there even is one...does anyone write for the Flyers? Seems most of their fans tend to hang here. Speaks volumes.

You guys sure all salty after the NHL just handed you that game. I guess not winning a cup in your life time will do that.

I’ll disagree again, most on this Penguins forum tend to acknowledge when players on the Penguins do something out of course, such as Malkins stock swinging...maybe you’re just illiterate when it comes to these things

Is this a joke lol. The flyers thread usually has the most pages of any thread but ok

And then you should be happy telling the few pens fans who always post there to leave Bill's blog, no?

Revisionist history? How can that be when I just explained in the most recent history last week when Malkin swung his stick at Raffl most on here said he deserved 4-5 or so games...do you not understand?

Not my job to police threads...

As far as Penguins fans on Flyers blogs, don’t understand that myself but whatever. In general as I’ve said on a few occasions JMachett tends to add to discussions when he’s on here, you...not so much you tend to drop the IQ avg a few points.

What do you expect when you lose two irreplaceable players to injury? I mean seriously. I read the flyer blog. You guys wanted Malkin suspended for 5 games or more for that stick swinging incident in which your guy acted like he got killed by the breeze. We all acknowledged it was bad.

So what's your point for being here other than gloating about the possibility of ending our season by way of dirty plays?

many of those pages have random non-sense, eagles poop, homophobic statements and plain whining. but ok

and so many of your comments tend to be about the league/refs being rigged against the flyers. just relax dude and take the W
