Yeah I know. The Rangers going to be bad for little while. By that time the contracts of Staal, Smith and Shattenkirk will be gone. Plus the cap should be around 87-90 million. So let's say it low a like 86 million. That is 7% of the cap to Lucic. Not bad at all.

Even long term its awful. Lucic=worst contract in the league. Puljujarvi=potential, could be a bust. So basically we are giving up Kreider for a 1st and the worst contract in the league. At least Smith is still serviceable
