Not to mention that 3 of their power plays were blatant dives. I'm just glad that the other 8 or so dives weren't also called penalties.

One of my favorite plays of the third was when Kappy caught Domi on the breakaway and chopped him down. Domi does a faceplant in the boards. I guess there was no call or complaining from Habs fans because everyone thought it was well deserved.

The 1st period was franking awful.

But I'm glad we went through it, because it made the final so much more glorious.

There was a Habs fan in front of me (nice guy, but still...). He was more than happy to trash talk the Leafs in the first period to everyone around him.

He started getting worried in the 2nd.

By the end of it, he was completely crushed. Just slumped over in his seat, as everyone around him high-fived.

That third period was one of the best this year. Amazing what a little Habs-hate can do to motivate a team. Not a smoker, but had the urge to light one up after the game.

It was completely intentional. And I wish they would actually call slew foots, slew foots. Dirtiest play in hockey, in my opinion. There's no way to defend yourself from a slew foot.

any Habs fan defending their team in that loss last night sums up COMPLETELY the entitled arrogant wieners that populate the fan base.

decades of preferential treatment by officiating for the Habs, they are so accustomed to it.. .that when on a rare occasion they don't get it... they lose their minds.

I don't care that Domi tries to be a s__ disturber. WHat else can he do when he's clearly outskilled.... but don't complain when you get away with calls that you aren't getting preferential treatment.
