I just don’t hold him as high as some people do because of where he was drafted.
He’s been just ok so far. His injury hasn’t helped either.
It’s not good for prospects to miss as many games as he has.

He’s been better than “ok”. His injury hasn’t helped but he has stepped up into a more prominent role playing much harder minutes.
And he’s only 19.
But hey, maybe you’re right and he’s not living up to his pedigree. If you’re evaluation is on the money than one would have to think GMs around the league would not want him as a centrepiece to any deal involving a high profile player, amirite?
I guess we’ll have to wait until Tuesday to see if the Leafs were willing to give him up... or if other teams see his value/potential. |
