Yes, Hyman's TOI is inflated due to PK time, but if you break it down, he's getting far too much 5 on 5 time. That's a big issue. That's inflating his TOI.
HYman's stats are pathetic. He plays the last 3 years with franchise centres and still can't score. There's no point even passing to him.

He’s improved his team each year...turned Kadri and Gardiner back into something. Took a 30 placed team into the playoffs.

Everything has been going well IMO since he became coach.

People act like their opinions are facts. You won’t agree with everything a coach does. But sometimes sit back and think maybe you are wrong and one of the top coaches in the NHL is right.

Yeah I remember reading about how Kadri was having regular meetings with Babs at first, then he turned in his two career best seasons. Rielly, Johnsson, Kap...a lot of the Leafs players have been developing very well. There was no guarantee that AM, MM and Billy were gonna not bust, and they've all been great. If Babs gets flack for stuff he also has to get credit for what's gone right, and there's a poop ton that's gone right.

It's more Lindholm's minutes that bothers me. Hey, he's replacement level 4th liner not making much, so whatever. But I'd like to see a bit of youth there (aka Moore).

At least they sent Moore back down, but there was a time this year when we had one of the better 4th lines in the league (Ennis Gauthier Leivo).

I have no issues with that.

Moore should be on the Marlies playing 18 mins a night with PP and PK time. Kind of like Johnnson last season and I think that helped him a lot.

Lindholm plays a normal amount of EV minutes. In fact he plays less than the average 4th line C.

It is, but the Blues game opened a lot of people's eyes. Offersheets are more of a cheap way to get attention.

This is a good team like you just said...plenty of scoring lines it’s not just Marner/JT.

There's some blown out of proportion Babcock hate and #firebabcock crap on Twitter that's kind of mental, but here are some facts:

- We are not playing up to expectations/potential this year, so far, considering the additions, mostly because of usage.

- Hainsey cannot play on the top pairing anymore. As a 5 on his strong side, I think he'd actually be a great fit there, but please, I don't think Muzzin saw more than a couple of shifts on the right side and Dermott's apparently ok on the right side elsewhere, so why not?

- Our PP should be lethal; absolutely lethal, both units. I think stacking the top unit was a mistake and is just creating too many passing options. 34/29 worked great for two years; two shooting threats, two underrated passing threats, more touches for both. 91/16, we know that chemistry works and 91 ran a PP for like what, 8-9 years?

* yes I understand Babcock doesn't run the PP, but he's the boss, so make it happen.
